METIS TECHBIO-P (07666) Joins Stock Connect, Unlocking Mainland Investment Access

Shanghai Stock Exchange released a notice after market close on September 4th, confirming that METIS TECHBIO-P (07666) has been officially added to the list of eligible securities under the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect program. The adjustment will take effect on Monday, September 7th.

This move means Mainland investors can now directly buy and sell shares of METIS TECHBIO-P through the Shanghai and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect channels, formally opening the door to southbound capital flows.

During the first half of this year, METIS TECHBIO-P recorded revenue of RMB 154 million, marking a substantial year-on-year increase of 13,339% and already surpassing 47% of its total revenue from the previous full year. During this reporting period, the company also achieved an infrastructure-level external application of its NanoForge platform, leading to a collaboration between its AiTEM artificial intelligence formulation innovation platform and Hengrui Medicine. Additionally, the company signed an exclusive licensing agreement with BioThunder AG, securing RMB 15 million in exclusivity fees and covering up to 10 candidate products. METIS TECHBIO-P also entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Apeloa Pharmaceutical to jointly build an “AI+CDMO” pharmaceutical innovation ecosystem.
