Veson Publishes 2025 ESG Report, Sets Carbon-Neutral Roadmap and Strengthens Supply-Chain Oversight

Veson Holdings Limited released its Environmental, Social and Governance Report for the year ended 31 December 2025, detailing revised climate targets, expanded supply-chain controls and updated social initiatives.

Key governance points • The Board approved all ESG disclosures and oversees a three-tier structure led by an ESG Task Force chaired by the Group CEO. • A newly formed Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Committee monitors data, scenario analysis and target implementation.

Decarbonisation strategy • Greenhouse-gas emissions totalled 337,232.93 tonnes, down 0.59 % year-on-year; intensity fell to 4.32 tCO₂e per m². • Targets: peak emissions by 2028 and achieve carbon neutrality—Scope 1 & 2 by 2045, Scope 3 by 2050. • A 4,427 m² rooftop solar system was installed at Scud Electronics; from 2026 it is expected to supply about 0.75 million kWh of green power annually. • Compressed-air station upgrades cut electricity use by 4.33 million kWh in the previous cycle and a further 2.54 million kWh during the Reporting Period.

Resource use and waste management • Total energy consumption was 30.36 million kWh (388.47 kWh/m²), up 3.08 % as production expanded; clean-energy purchases now represent 42.58 % of power used. • Water use declined 4.56 % to 0.13 million m³ (1.72 m³/m²), with no sourcing constraints reported. • Hazardous waste fell 14.98 % to 11.32 tonnes; non-hazardous waste was 1,738.43 tonnes, over 95 % of which was recycled. • A 10-year goal targets a further 10 % cut in waste intensity and a 95 % recycling rate for paper and wooden crates.

Labour practices and human rights • The workforce stood at 2,058, with a 27.27 % overall turnover; collective bargaining covers more than 95 % of employees. • Zero incidents of child or forced labour, discrimination or fatal workplace accidents were recorded. • Frontline staff averaged 41 training hours; the Group sponsored 71 employees for higher-education programmes.

Supply-chain management • The Group audited 338 active suppliers—over 70 % located in mainland China—against Responsible Business Alliance standards. • All suppliers must sign Veson’s “Supplier Certification and Management Guidance Principles,” covering anti-corruption, labour and environmental clauses; 121 high-risk positions were reviewed under the “Anti-corruption Trace-Back Campaign,” with no violations found.

Certifications and compliance • Key operating units maintain ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, TL 9000 and IECQ QC080000 certifications; Scud Electronics holds a “Silver Level” RBA Validated Assessment. • No material non-compliance with environmental, labour, product safety or anti-corruption laws was identified.

Community investment • RMB 32.20 million earmarked for a new skills-training base in Ningxia to support local employment. • The Company’s seven-year summer childcare scheme has served 440 employee families; RMB 0.52 million has been invested in employee and community welfare this year.

Management signalled that the Group will continue scaling renewable energy, deepening supplier due-diligence and expanding community programmes as it pursues its carbon-neutrality and quality-first agendas.
