South Korea's exports to India jumped more than 30 percent in the January-August period compared to the same timeframe in 2025, fueled by robust semiconductor demand, according to an official South Korean agency statement released on Monday.

Data from the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) shows that exports to India reached $16.8 billion during the first eight months of this year, a substantial increase from the $12.84 billion recorded during the same period last year.

As India accelerates its industrialization efforts, South Korean semiconductor companies, along with manufacturers of materials, components, and equipment, are steadily expanding their footprint in the Indian market.
