Tianjin Jinran Public Utilities Company Limited reported a preliminary profit attributable to shareholders of approximately RMB2.40 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026, marking a sharp turnaround from the RMB28.60 million loss recorded in the same period of 2025—a positive swing of about RMB31.00 million.
Management attributes the expected improvement to: 1) A significant uptick in piped-gas sales driven by higher demand from large-scale customers during the period; and 2) A notable reduction in operating costs and expenses following the implementation of lean-management initiatives.
The figures are based on unaudited consolidated management accounts and may be adjusted when the interim results are finalized. The company plans to publish its full interim results by the end of August 2026.
Investors are advised to interpret the positive profit alert with caution until the audited interim financial statements are released.
