Motorists should prepare for higher costs at the pump as the next fuel price adjustment is scheduled for 24:00 on September 11. This will mark the 18th pricing window of the year under the domestic refined oil product pricing mechanism, with the current cycle's statistical progress already at 90%.

Latest projections indicate that based on data from the 9th working day (September 10), gasoline and diesel prices are expected to rise by 340 yuan per tonne and 330 yuan per tonne, respectively. Converting these figures to retail prices, 92-octane gasoline is forecast to increase by 0.27 yuan per liter, 95-octane gasoline by 0.29 yuan per liter, and 0-diesel by 0.28 yuan per liter.

For a typical 50-liter fuel tank, this adjustment means an additional cost of approximately 13.5 to 14.5 yuan to fill up completely. Currently, the national average reference prices stand at 8.07 yuan per liter for 92-octane gasoline, 8.61 yuan per liter for 95-octane gasoline, and 7.73 yuan per liter for 0-diesel.

A friendly reminder for drivers: with prices potentially rising at 24:00 on September 11, those with conventional fuel vehicles may want to fill up their tanks before the adjustment takes effect to save on travel expenses. Please note that these figures are based on institutional forecasts only, and the final adjustment will be subject to official announcements.
