Fuel Price Update: Possible Rise in September Following 11 Increases This Year

This year has seen a total of 11 price hikes and 5 reductions in fuel costs, and September might witness another increase. The 18th fuel price adjustment of the year is scheduled for 24:00 on Friday, September 11th.

Based on current calculations, gasoline and diesel prices are projected to rise by 160 yuan per ton and 155 yuan per ton, respectively. When converted to terminal gas station prices, 92-octane gasoline is expected to increase by 0.13 yuan per liter, 95-octane gasoline by 0.14 yuan per liter, and 0-diesel by 0.13 yuan per liter. After this adjustment, filling up a standard 50-liter tank will cost an additional 6.5 to 7 yuan. The final adjustment price for this round will be subject to the official announcement by the National Development and Reform Commission.
