SBP GROUP has announced that its subsidiary, Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., presented preclinical study data for TQH5528, an oral STAT6 degrader, at the European Respiratory Society 2026 Congress (ERS 2026). The findings were delivered as an oral presentation and accompanied by an electronic poster display.

TQH5528 is an orally administered STAT6 degrader developed by Chia Tai Tianqing using its proprietary oral protein degradation technology platform (OAPD®), which is protected by global intellectual property rights. This investigational therapy targets the IL-4/IL-13/STAT6 signaling axis and exerts its pharmacological effects through a protein degradation mechanism, positioning it as a potential next-generation treatment that could offer greater convenience compared to injectable biologic agents.

By leveraging this degradation approach, TQH5528 has the potential to serve as an alternative to injectable biologics, providing a more patient-friendly administration route for managing conditions driven by the IL-4/IL-13 pathway.
