CHINA LIT Repurchases 400,000 Shares on 3 Sept; Buy-back Total Reaches 14.45 Million Under 2026 Mandate

China Literature Limited (CHINA LIT) disclosed that it repurchased 400,000 ordinary shares on 3 September 2026 via the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HKD 19.99 and HKD 20.66, spending HKD 8.07 million. The shares are intended for cancellation.

Between 20 August and 3 September 2026 the company bought back an aggregate 3.87 million shares that remain outstanding pending cancellation, representing approximately 0.38% of CHINA LIT’s 1.02 billion issued shares. The volume-weighted average purchase price over this period was about HKD 20.26 per share, implying a total cash outlay of roughly HKD 78.47 million.

As at 3 September 2026 the company’s issued share capital stands unchanged at 1,017.37 million shares. The buy-backs form part of the repurchase mandate approved on 2 June 2026, which authorises the company to acquire up to 102.15 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now amount to 14.45 million shares, equating to 1.41% of the share base on the mandate date.

Under Hong Kong listing rules, CHINA LIT is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 3 October 2026.
