China Longyuan Power Reports 1.31% Dip in Cumulative Power Output for First Eight Months

China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited (00916) has announced that its consolidated power generation for August 2026 reached 5,608.1 GWh, marking a year-on-year increase of 6.35% compared to the same month in 2025. Within this monthly total, wind power output grew by 1.13% year-on-year, while solar power generation surged by 20.67%.

For the cumulative period ending August 31, 2026, the company's total power generation amounted to 50,583.7 GWh, reflecting a year-on-year decline of 1.31% relative to the prior-year period. Breaking down the eight-month figures, wind power output experienced a decrease of 5.76% year-on-year, whereas solar power generation posted a robust increase of 19.17% during the same timeframe.
