Shares of nickel-related companies broadly advanced during Wednesday's morning trading session, with notable movements in several key players in the sector.

As of the time of writing, XINXIN MINING (03833.HK) surged 7.27% to HK$2.07, while LYGEND RESOURCE (02245.HK) rose 4.85% to HK$18.39. Additionally, CNGR Advanced Material (02579.HK) gained 4.10% to HK$25.92 during the session.

According to Huachuang Securities, the nickel industry is increasingly showing medium-to-long-term investment value, driven by a combination of supply constraints, rising production costs, and differentiated demand patterns across various segments.

Taking into account companies' business strategies, the brokerage recommends focusing on LYGEND RESOURCE, which operates both nickel trading and hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical production lines, enabling it to hedge against process-related volatility. It also highlights CNGR Advanced Material for its secured Indonesian nickel raw materials and balanced ramp-up of diversified precursor materials.
