At the 2026 Inclusion·Bund Conference, a new AI-powered smart glasses prototype from Qianwen was showcased at the AI payment exhibition zone on the morning of September 10th. The device was largely covered in black opaque material, making it difficult to assess further functional or hardware specifications based on appearance alone.

However, clues from the exhibition area suggest the new model may introduce iris recognition capabilities for the first time. This would enable more precise identity verification, aiming to enhance both security and interaction convenience in AI glasses-based payment systems.

Throughout this year, Qianwen has been actively expanding its footprint in AI hardware, having previously launched smart glasses models such as the S1 and G1. At the World Artificial Intelligence Conference held in July, the company also demonstrated a range of emerging technologies, including full-duplex voice, eye-tracking, and vital sign monitoring. These innovations are expected to be gradually integrated into future hardware releases from the company.
