Hong Kong Exchange Disciplines Former Director of Silver Grant

The Hong Kong Stock Exchange has taken disciplinary action against a former director of Silver Grant (00171).
The exchange has issued a statement declaring the former executive director, Mr. Wang Ping, unfit and has also censured him.
As part of its investigation into whether Mr. Wang fulfilled his director duties under the Listing Rules, the exchange sent him inquiry and reminder letters.
Mr. Wang did not respond to the exchange's inquiries.
The exchange stated that directors, even after resigning, must cooperate with its investigations.
Failure to cooperate constitutes a serious breach of the Listing Rules and may lead to the most severe disciplinary sanctions.
