China Power Maintains 12.37 Billion Outstanding Shares in August; Affirms Public Float Compliance

China Power International Development Limited reported no change in its issued share capital for the month ended 31 August 2026. Outstanding ordinary shares remained at 12.37 billion, with zero treasury shares held or cancelled during the period.

The company confirmed that its public float exceeded the Main Board’s minimum 25% threshold as of 31 August 2026, satisfying Hong Kong Stock Exchange requirements.

Share-based incentives recorded limited activity. Under the Share Option Incentive Scheme (exercise price: HK$4.82), 0.15 million options lapsed, reducing the outstanding balance to 16.12 million. A second tranche of options (exercise price: HK$4.90) was unchanged at 4.56 million outstanding. Across both tranches, up to 8.53 million shares remain available for future issuance, and no shares were issued or transferred from treasury during the month.

There were no movements involving warrants, convertible securities, or other equity-linked instruments. The company also reported no share repurchases.

The monthly return, filed by Company Secretary Cheung Siu Lan on 3 September 2026, confirms that all activities complied with Hong Kong listing rules and relevant legal requirements.
