WuXi AppTec Issues 0.88 Million New H Shares on Convertible Bond Conversion, Expanding Free Float by 0.17%

Hong Kong, 9 September 2026 – WuXi AppTec Co., Ltd. disclosed a minor expansion of its Hong Kong–listed share capital following the partial conversion of its outstanding zero-coupon convertible bonds due 2027.

The company issued 875,080 new H shares on 9 September 2026 at a conversion price of HKD 153.00 per share, translating into proceeds of approximately HKD 133.89 million. The new shares stem from holders exercising conversion rights under the RMB 6.78 billion (USD-settled) zero-coupon convertible bonds.

Key post-transaction metrics: • Issued H shares (excluding treasury shares) increased from 529.41 million to 530.29 million, a 0.17% uptick. • Treasury shares remained unchanged at 20.15 million. • Total shares in issue (including treasury shares) rose to 550.44 million.

WuXi AppTec confirmed that the conversion was duly authorised by its board and executed in full compliance with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s Main Board Rules and all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. No share repurchases or treasury-share sales were reported for the period.
