Li Auto Executes HK$70.58 Million Share Buyback, Reducing Free-Float by 0.09%

Li Auto Inc. disclosed that it repurchased 1.56 million Class A WVR ordinary shares on 2 September 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, spending HK$70.58 million in total. The purchase was carried out under the company’s existing share-repurchase mandate approved on 29 May 2026.

The shares were bought at prices ranging from HK$44.68 to HK$46.36, translating into a volume-weighted average cost of HK$45.19 per share. All repurchased shares have been retained as treasury stock.

Following the transaction, Li Auto’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) declined from 1.72 billion to 1.72 billion shares, reflecting a 0.0905% reduction. Concurrently, the company’s treasury share balance rose to 94.91 million shares.

Cumulatively, Li Auto has repurchased 75.32 million shares—equivalent to 3.52% of the shares outstanding when the mandate was granted—against its total authorization of up to 214.28 million shares.

In line with Hong Kong Exchange rules, Li Auto is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares, lasting until 2 October 2026. The company’s filing confirms that all repurchases complied with Main Board Rule 10.06 and that no material changes have been made to the previously published explanatory statement.
