Mainland investors have gained a new direct channel to trade shares of DIAGENS-B (02526), as the stock has been officially added to the list of eligible securities under the Stock Connect program. The Shanghai Stock Exchange released a post-market notice on September 4, confirming the inclusion in accordance with its rules for the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, with the adjustment taking effect from Monday, September 7.

This move effectively unlocks southbound capital flows, meaning investors from mainland China can now buy and sell DIAGENS-B directly through the Shanghai and Shenzhen-Hong Kong trading links. The addition is a significant step in broadening the company's investor base and improving liquidity.

In a related development, on September 2, DIAGENS-B and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University jointly inaugurated the "PolyU-DIAGENS Joint Laboratory for General Artificial Intelligence and Medical Applications." The two parties will collaborate on long-term research initiatives focused on areas such as medical image analysis, the construction of foundational medical large-scale models, and the automation of medical R&D processes. The partnership aims to advance the translation of AI for Science in the healthcare sector, bridging academic research with industrial applications and linking innovation networks in mainland China, Hong Kong, and globally.
