Veson Holdings Ltd (01399) has announced a positive profit alert, signaling a strong financial rebound for the first half of the fiscal year.
Based on a preliminary review of the group's unaudited consolidated results for the six-month period ending June 30, 2026, the company anticipates recording a profit of approximately RMB 20.3 million for the period, with profit attributable to shareholders of the company reaching around RMB 21.3 million. This marks a significant turnaround compared to the same period in 2025, when the company posted a loss of approximately RMB 18.9 million and a shareholder-attributable loss of about RMB 14.5 million.
According to information currently available to the board, this return to profitability is primarily driven by revenue growth in the ODM business segment, the implementation of stringent cost control measures, an improvement in the credit risk profile of trade receivables, and a reduction in financing expenses.
