A joint awareness campaign centered on "Personal Information Protection Day" was organized on September 14th by the County Labor Union and County Women's Federation at Meizhou Smart Transportation Co., Ltd. The event was built around the theme "Cybersecurity for the People, Cybersecurity by the People," with a strong emphasis on safeguarding personal information. Activities were conducted through a quiz-based format featuring prizes, with questions covering key legislation such as the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China, the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, guidelines for AI data security, and crucial aspects of facial recognition data protection.
The initiative drew participation from over 200 employees in the express delivery and transportation sector. Participants enthusiastically engaged with the quiz questions, which served to both evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing safety education efforts and, through interactive participation, further bolster the staff's understanding and capability regarding cybersecurity and personal information protection.
Looking ahead, the County Labor Union and County Women's Federation plan to focus on the cybersecurity needs of workers and women's groups. They will continue to promote cybersecurity awareness through sustained outreach, utilizing a variety of methods such as distributing informational brochures and offering on-site consultations to provide comprehensive education on digital security skills. This initiative seeks to guide the workforce and community in jointly building a robust line of defense for national cybersecurity.
