Boan Biotech repurchases 1.50 million H shares; treasury stock climbs to 6.40 million

Hong Kong-listed Shandong Boan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Boan Biotech) filed a Next Day Disclosure Return on 8 September 2026 reporting the on-market repurchase of 1.50 million H shares on the same day. The transaction was executed at prices ranging from HKD 2.835 to HKD 3.245 per share, representing a volume-weighted average cost of approximately HKD 3.04 per share and an aggregate outlay of HKD 4.55 million.

Following the buyback, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell 0.24% to 615.93 million shares from 617.43 million shares, while treasury shares increased to 6.40 million from 4.90 million. Total issued shares, including treasury stock, remained unchanged at 622.33 million.

The purchase forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 22 June 2026, which authorises Boan Biotech to buy back up to 62.23 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 6.40 million shares, equivalent to 1.03% of the company’s issued share capital on the approval date.

In line with Main Board Rule 10.06, Boan Biotech is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share disposals until 8 October 2026.
