Hong Kong dollar interbank offered rates saw a broad uptick on September 15, with the one-month rate closely tied to mortgage pricing advancing for a third consecutive session.
The one-month Hibor reached 2.91256%, marking a rise of 2.369 basis points, while the three-month rate, a key gauge of bank funding costs, climbed 2.780 basis points to 3.10256%.
In contrast, the overnight rate dipped 3.679 basis points to 2.25071%, and the one-week rate slipped 0.071 basis points to 2.42679%. Meanwhile, the two-week tenor edged up 0.071 basis points to 2.52821%, and the two-month rate advanced 2.036 basis points to 3.00000%.
At the longer end of the curve, the six-month Hibor increased 3.387 basis points to 3.31280%, while the one-year rate surged 7.250 basis points to 3.73839%.
