Xinyi Solar Holdings Limited reported that it repurchased 3.00 million ordinary shares on 9 September 2026 through on-market transactions at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were bought at a uniform price of HKD 2.10 each, bringing the total consideration to HKD 6.30 million.
The repurchased shares, representing 0.0327% of Xinyi Solar’s 9.15 billion issued shares, are earmarked for cancellation and have not yet been removed from the share register as of the disclosure date. Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital remains unchanged at 9.15 billion shares until the cancellation process is completed.
The buyback was executed under the general mandate approved by shareholders on 29 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 914.70 million shares, equivalent to 10% of the share capital outstanding on the mandate date. Including the latest transaction, Xinyi Solar has utilised 0.33% of this authority.
In accordance with Hong Kong Listing Rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or transferring treasury shares until 9 October 2026, 30 days after the repurchase date.
The board confirmed that the repurchase complied with all relevant regulatory requirements and that aggregate proceeds for the cancelled shares have been fully settled.
