Firmus entered into a multi-year partnership with OpenAI, under which the latter will contract dedicated artificial intelligence compute capacity from two Firmus AI Factory sites in Malaysia, the AI infrastructure company said in a statement on Tuesday.
OpenAI will support Firmus as an anchor customer, facilitating the expansion of AI Factory capacity within the company's platform.
MAAS Group (ASX:MGH) owns 3.2% of Firmus.
MAAS Group shares rose nearly 6% in morning trade Tuesday.
