Chalice Mining (ASX:CHN) intersected multiple broad low-grade zones of copper-silver-gold mineralization across a strike length of 1.2 kilometers at the Deep Blue target within the Goomalling project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Initial results confirmed the presence of a large-scale mineral system that remains open along strike, with drilling returning 21 meters at 0.18% copper, 0.67 grams per tonne silver and 0.03 g/t gold from 50 meters, nine meters at 0.21% copper, 0.86 g/t silver and 0.05 g/t gold from 180 meters, the filing said.

The company will undertake expanded soil sampling and follow-up drilling to test for prospective rare-earth-element targets in the fourth quarter, per the filing.
