Carnegie Clean Energy (ASX:CCE) welcomed the opening of the PacWave South in Oregon, a pre-permitted, grid-connected wave energy testing facility that creates a pathway for utility-scale testing, according to a late Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company said its Ceto technology can provide predictable underwater power that complements solar and wind while enhancing grid resilience and supporting remote communities and defense applications, per the filing.

The company is progressing its international commercialization strategy through the Achieve Program at the Biscay Marine Energy Platform (BiMEP) in Europe while evaluating future full-scale deployments at BiMEP, European Marine Energy Center, and PacWave, the filing added.
