Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) intersected multiple high-grade results extending known mineralization at the Peak Hill project in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling returned 12 meters at nearly 9 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 8 meters, 8 meters at 9 g/t grade of gold from 76 meters, 20 meters at 2.73 g/t grade of gold from 90 meters and 10 meters at 9 g/t grade of gold from 137 meters, the filing said.
Drilling is ongoing with three rigs on site aiming to deliver a major resource upgrade by year-end, per the filing.
Shares rose nearly 12% in midday trade Monday.
