Vulcan Energy Resources Secures Second Lithium Production License for Germany Project

Vulcan Energy Resources (ASX:VUL) secured its second lithium production license for its Lionheart project in the Upper Rhine Valley Brine Field in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Lionheart involves the construction of an integrated lithium and geothermal energy project targeting production capacity of 24,000 tonnes of lithium hydroxide monohydrate, with a co-product of 275 gigawatt-hours of renewable power and 560 gigawatt-hours of heat annually for local consumers, over a project life of about 30 years, the filing said.
The production license is valid for six years until Sept. 9, 2032, per the filing.
