Nvidia (NVDA), OpenAI, Oracle (ORCL) and Cisco (CSCO) are involved in a United Arab Emirates AI data center project that will likely be revised following Iranian attacks, Reuters reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The 5-gigawatt project, originally planned as a 10-square-mile campus in Abu Dhabi, will likely be developed as a network of data centers across the UAE, according to the report.
The first phase of the $30 billion Stargate UAE project is expected to proceed with security modifications, while G42 said work remains on track and subject to ongoing review, Reuters added.
Nvidia, OpenAI, Oracle, Cisco and G42 didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
