Maritana Minerals (ASX:MRT) delivered an updated mineral resource estimate of 13.7 million tonnes at 1.7 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold for 755,000 ounces for its Burbanks project in Western Australia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The previous estimate was 6.1 million tonnes at 2.4 g/t grade of gold for 466,000 ounces, the filing said.
The updated estimate incorporates the first phase drilling program and the Burbanks North drilling, per the filing.
