Stocks to Watch: American Eagle, Cooper Cos., Navan, Skillsoft

American Eagle Outfitters said merchandise margins shrank in the latest quarter due to more promotions in its core business. Shares fell 10%, to $15.12, in after-hours trading Wednesday.

Cooper Cos. lowered its outlook after reducing the inventory of its contact-lens business. The stock slid 16%, to $53.35, after the bell.

Navan said it was acquiring an events platform called BoomPop. Shares shed 17%, to $21.60.

Skillsoft cut its outlook after logging lower second-quarter sales. The stock declined 13%, to $5.56.
