Football Manager SPAC Files for IPO

Football Manager, a special-purpose acquisition company, filed for an initial public offering.

The blank-check company plans to offer 10 million units at $10 apiece. It expects total proceeds before expenses to be $95.75 million.

Each unit consists of a share and a warrant, with each warrant entitling the holder to buy a share for $11.50.

The company plans to focus its search for an acquisition target on a soccer club in the middle tiers of the European professional soccer market.

Football Manager intends to acquire one or more businesses with an aggregate enterprise value of about $200 million.

The company is led by Chief Executive Alessandro Lamberti, who is chair of a renewable energy company and a construction company, both headquartered in Milan.
