Palantir's AI Data Sovereignty Pitch Seen Resonating

1056 ET - Palantir's pitch about the importance of AI and data sovereignty is sinking in, D.A. Davidson analysts Gil Luria and Turner Dischinger say in a note, raising their price target by $50 to $250. Nvidia's partnership with Palantir, announced Thursday, reinforces the trust major enterprises place in the company--especially as OpenAI and Anthropic "keep getting caught with their hand in the cookie jar" with "comically false" claims that they don't look at customer data, the analysts say. "Customers are getting savvier about what AI model they need and how to work with a range of models and Palantir is capitalizing on that trend," Luria and Dischinger say. "Trust means Palantir is naturally positioned to become the control plane, orchestration layer and harness provider for a wide range of customers."
